Diplomatic Passport

Diplomatic passports are issued to individuals who engage in international travel on government, official, or state business.

A passport for diplomats is given to consuls, government employees with various state departments and diplomats when posted internationally.

They are frequently issued to other government employees. Diplomatic passports usually appear different from regular passports which makes them easy to identify. Most diplomatic passports are black.
Diplomatic passports do not convey diplomatic immunity to the holder of the passport.

To get a diplomatic passport, a person must say that they will be traveling overseas on government business, representing a state.

Usually countries issue diplomatic passport in addition to other special travel documents, through an agency that is separate from the usual passport office.

When someone with government business travel needs gets a diplomatic passport, his or her family will quality for a diplomatic passport too.

The passport alone will typically not be enough for visa free travel. the holder of the passport will often have to apply for diplomatic visas although this will vary based on country of provenance and destination country.

A visa is usually applied for when a diplomat is given a new international posting at the consulate or embassy.

These passports are for people on official business. Diplomats or state employees who want to travel as tourists are supposed to travel under their “usual” passport and receive all the relevant visas.

Diplomats or others who are traveling under dual passports are supposed to use the same passport when exiting a country that they used when entering the same country. Using different passports will make the visa records be incomplete or incorrect.

There are companies and websites that you can find online that say that they can get you a diplomatic passport and get you diplomatic immunity.

These websites and businesses are not for real. Second passports scams are sometimes hard to spot, but these are invariably fraudulent offers.

One can only get a diplomatic passport if they are on state business. Those who are working in an official capacity will be given information on how to acquire their diplomatic passport when they receive their international assignment.

In addition, diplomatic passports and visas do not cost anything, and they do not confer with them diplomatic immunity. Unfortunately, those looking for valid second passports have been sucked in by these scammers.
